How will you get an action figure to have a tight group?

One problem im facing with highly articulated action figures is the loose joint problem, as it is very difficult for the position of the action figure in certain positions. I know it's a way to get Action Figure seals have?

Here are some suggestions that may help: Running Loose hot (not boiling) to then apply pressure on the joint and run under cold water to re-set.
