Joker in The Dark Knight How to get your scars?

In the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight, Joker tells two different stories about how he got his smile scars. First he says that his father did with a kitchen knife and later said that he also made himself so his wife felt better with their own facial scars. So what is it?

This is not either. The Joker tells the stories of his distracting their victims. He is a master of mind games, the king of manipulation. We choose a different story for each victim, and every story told to the victim is twist your psyche, prey to their emotions, opinions, and intelligence. In the comics say different variations of his childhood, sometimes talks about an abusive father, sometimes speaks of a mother out of control, nobody knows his real past, most assume that just makes it up when it goes hand in hand … and according to the massacre in the joke that says something like "If I'm going to have a past, I prefer to be multiple choice, which is probably a correct assumption.
