World in Conflict do you need a new key (unused) for online play?

I do not want to download some free place where I'll buy the game but I get it cheaper off of ebay used. So I just wanted to know if I need to get a new one play online.

I got mine off eBay. However, before the person had used the key. I could not do an online account. I soon had just go to town and buy it at retail prices. I am a great believer of ebay but sometimes it does that it's cons. If you do not buy off eBay, make sure you buy a seal or "new" copy.
