Was Sasha Malia
Why do they always Sasha Malia before when discussing Obama's Daughter?
There Barrack Obama and wife Michelle Then there is the eldest daughter Malia (10 years) Then there is the youngest daughter Sasha (7) So why all the media and the news channel always say before Sasha Malia? As in the booth, Michelle, Sasha and Malia? Should not they say in order of seniority? Malia is older and she was there first? It must therefore be Malia and Sasha and Malia and Sasha not? Or am I wrong?
This is probably due to the flow of sounds: "Sasha and Malia" a very fluid sound to it. "Malia and Sasha" is somewhat of a language-discordant Twister (especially if the media will repeat over and over again). It is a concept similar to the structure of the sentence: "Jack, Joe and I went to school." … as opposed to … "I Jack and Joe went to school. "
